Established in 2008 and located in Kiev, Otten Consulting is a reliable partner for foreign investors and companies doing business in Ukraine. The company’s clients mainly include mid-sized firms from Germany, Austria, France, the UK and the USA. Otten Consulting offers its clients a full range of services in tax consulting, accounting and controlling as well as more specialised services, such as support in recruiting or in the restructuring of agricultural businesses.
Currently, the consulting firm has 15 employees, who are fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian and German and who have many years of experience in Ukrainian tax and accounting law. Otten Consulting finds individually tailored solutions and seeks to act as the “guiding light through the darkness of the Ukrainian tax system”.
In providing its services, the company relies on a strong network of cooperation partners. Jointly with the German Advisory Group, Otten Consulting advises the Ukrainian government on the implementation of economic reforms and the integration of Ukraine into the global economy.
Thomas Otten is director of Otten Consulting. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne and specialised in the Ukrainian market, when working for the KfW Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the late 1990s. Since 2006 he is active in the fields of tax consulting, accounting and financial due diligence in Ukraine.
