On September 12-13, 2019, the UK arm of the ETL group were proud to host their inaugural ETL Global UK conference in the heart of Manchester. For the first time, ETL Global UK and international partners joined together in the United Kingdom for a two day conference event to discuss and celebrate the expanding network
The theme of this event was ‘Success through Synergy’. Sara Brassington, Managing Director of ETL Global UK said; “Fundamentally, our success depends on the strength of our working relationships both internally and across borders. The conference gave us the perfect opportunity to discuss in detail our core values as a UK network alongside our global partners and explore the opportunities to work collaboratively. It was brilliant to spend a productive, fun few days together”.
The afternoon session focused on developments across the global network and the opportunities to work together as International partners, this was done in collaboration with Anne-Kathrin Steinröder, Head of the ETL Global network and Juan Bermudez Clavería, CEO at ETL Global Spain.
The UK were delighted to welcome guest speakers; David Jones, Partner at Glaisyers Solicitors LLP and Dan Holloway, Director of Client Services at ITFarm, who delivered some great, insightful
talks on a range of topics including successful client referrals across global borders and the challenges of cyber security.
The conference was rounded off on the Friday with a lively football match between ETL Global UK, Spain and Holland teams. The ETL Global football match has now become a tradition, so a huge congratulations to Holland for winning this year’s match!
ETL Global UK were overwhelmed with the positive feedback they have received from all attendees, and were thrilled to see some great discussions and collaborations forming. The UK are excited to see these working relationships develop and hope they continue to enhance their success within the network.
