ETL GLOBAL Future Stars Competition 2025
The ETL GLOBAL Future Stars Competition, now in its second edition, took place last week in Podivín, Czech Republic, where young lawyers and tax advisors from the network were challenged to find solutions to a proposed directive. The competition was organised by Vojtěch Sucharda, Juan Bermudez Claveria, Robert Jurka, David Jones, Riccardo Benussi and Borut Ravnik, who guided the participants through the process and served as the final judges of the event.
This year’s participants were divided into four teams:
Team Green: Zuzanna Wojtkowska, Zornitsa Vassileva, Eva van Stralen and Isabel Stanley.
Team Blue: Sebastian Clark, Talia Bouzón, Grzegorz Nun and Omar Smajlovic.
Team Red: Peter Pegasiou, Becky Berrow ACA CTA , Enric Planas Lagresa , and Emiel Knorth.
Team Black: Ammad Saed, Mikołaj Zimny, Joana Francisco Escoriza, and Tihana Nasić.
After thorough preparation and presentation, the Team Green emerged as the winner! Their smart and well-rounded solution met all criteria and impressed the judges, earning them an exclusive invitation to present their pitch at the ETL GLOBAL International Conference 2026.

ETL GLOBAL Ireland Padel Tournament
The ETL GLOBAL Ireland Padel Tournament took place last Thursday in Dublin and proved to be a memorable day both on and off the court. The final match brought great energy, with Ben Cronin and Kevin Kerrigan (representing AML HQ as one of the event’s sponsors) securing the win against Jack Shute and Cameron Dunn of mgr (representing the guest team of ETL GLOBAL UK). Their performance crowned an afternoon filled with teamwork, sportsmanship and good humour.
What made the day truly special was the atmosphere, with colleagues meeting not just as professionals but as part of a wider community. With the success of this edition, anticipation is already growing for next year’s tournament!

Newcomer Days and Team Event of ETL Prüfung & Beratung in Germany
The German auditors of ETL Prüfung & Beratung recently held two inspiring events in Essen and Dresden.
Already at the end of August, this year’s edition of the annual Newcomer Days welcomed around 40 newly joined colleagues from eight companies at Zeche Zollverein in Essen, making it the largest gathering so far! The programme gave new employees and trainees the chance to learn more about ETL Prüfung & Beratung and the wider ETL network, while also building contacts across different offices.
Shortly after, at the beginning of September, followed a lively team event of the whole German ETL Audit organisation in Dresden. With a strong focus on teambuilding, the event gave the integration of participating newcomers another push to immediately feel part of the group.
Welcome to all the new colleagues!
